WOW!! What a whirlwind of a day!
I've been sooo busy today!! I went to MMH this morning for pre-op testing and preadmission and they treated me sooo well!! I was very surprised!! Im just ready for tomorrow to get here so this part of my journey can be over....I read Psalm 23 today and just rejoiced in that scripture! Fear is not a fruit of the spirit and I can honestly say that I am not afraid. Thank you all for your prayers of peace for me cause the Lord has just blessed me with peace! I also called Mercy Medical today and decided that is not the hospital for me to have my 2nd opinion done at. I was treated very poorly and that was just an indication to me that I don't want to go there!! The Lord will lead me to the right place I feel confident about that. Got to spend the day with my 3 favorite men then tonight I'm going to dinner so all in all its been a great day!!
Shannon, I am so sorry to hear of your cancer! Tears streamed as I read each entry and your brave words. I will pray for you as you enter another phase of your battle against this horrible illness! I beleive in your strength and aggression in defeating this monster!! Stay positive and keep your vision of the end in sight!! Please know that Josh and I are here if you need anything at all!!

I was so sorry to hear about what you are going through. I will be sure to pray for you. Do you know where you will go for your second opinion? I hear really good things about Johns Hopkins.
My mother-in-law had gone there before for a second opinion. She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2005 and sees Dr Foote.
