Day after surgery
Well praise the Lord I am home and can type and can walk and can eat and use the bathroom all by myself!!! God is good!! I am just a little sore but the Lord has allowed me to really be pain free through this recovery. Yesterday before I went back to surgery I had a friend come back with Tom and I and just pray for me. My friend Heather is such a prayer warrior that I would like her to come live with me!!! LOL Before she came into the room it was just filled with the spirit and angels I had so much peace that I just knew the Holy Spirit had to be there!! When she came back she could just feel the holy spirit as well and when she began to pray we all just started having visions from the Lord of angels just being all around me and keeping me safe and just guiding the surgeons hands!! They wheeled me back and knocked me out and surgery began!! As I remember it the surgeon said the surgery went extremely well the cancer was not on my chest wall it was closer to the skin which just meant it was a little harder for her to close the wound but of course it wasn't hard for the Lord to guide her hand perfectly!! God is good and I think sometimes we get very complacent with that statement so I just pray that as I go through the next part of this journey I will continue to see the goodness of God even at my lowest point. He has guided my every step through today and I don't ever want another day if its not totally guided by Him!! Since Sept. 27, 2009 I have fallen madly in love with our Saviour and I know to some of you that is just an absolutly insane remark but I just encourage you to find out what I mean by that!!! This is a feal good country and do it for yourself country so I challenge you to look into this Jesus thing for yourself!! Get a Bible and start reading in the book of John first. This is for eternity not just how well the Lord will change your life on earth but where you will spend eternity. Like it or not the truth is you will spend eternity somewhere and you don't want it to be hell!!!

Shannon, your words are just amazing and inspiring! I love the message you are able to pass on to others, and I do pray that others will be led to their own salvation by the impact of YOUR journey. You are being such an Ambassador for the Lord right now, and you can rest assured He has a crown awaiting you in your Mansion! God Bless you, Shannon, as you go into the next phase of your life on earth. I have heard others in recovery say that they can feel the Holy Spirit within them like never before, and it sounds like it is that way for you, too. Keeping you in our prayers, still.
Love in Christ,
Rosie

I thank the Lord you are doing so well, Shannon. I thank Him for the peace He has given you. He promises that peace in Philippians 4:6-7. And you are so right about eternity 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (our troubles, that is) So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. I am very proud of you Shannon and thankful that you are a sister in Christ Jesus!

Shannon,
I attend ENF with you, however I am sad to say I haven't met you yet. I am always on the go with my youngin's or in the back teaching Sunday School. However, I have learned of your situation and Amy posted your blog link on facebook. I have enjoyed reading it and have been thinking about you a lot this week. I can't imagine what you're going through but know that God has it completely under control. I think the blog is a great idea and awesome way to stay in touch with your friends & family. I am praying for you daily and know that God will give you the strength & peace you need to press on & fight the good fight! God bless!

Wow! All that goes through my mind is 'Praise the Lord, Great things He has done!' And to you I hear Him say, 'Well done thy Good and Faithful Servant'. You are an amazing young woman of God and such an inspiration to All those around you. I am confident that no matter where this road may take you that you will be relying on Him and that even in your lowest points that He will be right by your side filling your heart and soul with His wonderful love and peace. Thank-you Shannon for being a shining example of His power and love. Dear Sister, may God continue to bless you. We, at the Tribbitt household, send you much love, prayers and support.
