Removing the gauze
Today was a tough and emotional day for me. I had to remove the gauze and I let Tom see me!! Even though I know that he would still love me and not think anything about me losing my breast it was still very emotional!! I got to wash up but still no shower yet!! YUCK!! Tom found some stuff to spray in my hair to take the greese out of it!!! So anyway I feel yucky cause I havent' had a shower in 3 days! I am ready to move around and get some laundry done but I just can't get my arm working as well as I want to! I'm a little sore but I've taken Motrin and feel a little better. I just want to thank all of you for all of your prayers they have been answered!! The Lord has given me peace and strength for sure!! Thank you for all that have sent cards or meals you don't know how much that totally means to my family and I!! Love all of you so much!!
Hey, girl, you want me to come do your laundry? You need to be relaxing, not doing things around the house! Let me know if you need anything. Seriously!

I love the fact that you have this blog. It allows us to stay updated first hand, without having to interrupt you, as you rest. I stand by my original comment, you are amazing. Your testimony and faith has touched us all. We all need to be reminded of how precious our lives are.

I had no idea you were having surgery so quickly- and I was suggesting we go out for cofee!! When you get home please put me on a food list. I am thinking about you Shannon- and praying. ox, Leslie
